For one of my design classes I was assigned to create an event poster. The chosen event was for Alien Con, an alien themed convention in Dallas Texas. I had several different design ideas, the one I went with was having photography with lots of negative space. I wanted to make a poster in the same vein as several other space themed posters that use lots of negative space to convey the openness of space.
